Now I'm confused - because originally you said it was Pin85 with the 0.0 reading - then said you had reverse-identified the pins - but now say Pin85 was reading 0.0 to J4-Pin5, confirming your first statement...

SORRY, I THOUGHT THE original view was when looking at the pin, not the socket. When looking down at the socket, with 85 on the left, that pin is 0.00.

1) Please clarify this again (sorry for asking)...

The other questions:

Notice that both Connector J1 & J5 have connections to power the Horn & also notice that they both have AUX Power available on their Pin1 location.
WILL DO. I BELIEVE IT IS OFF WHEN KEYSWITCH IS OFF.

2) Can you please test as follows - With the Keyswitch OFF, do you have power at either J1-Pin1 or at J5-Pin1? I need to know if the AUX Power is supplied without the Keyswitch ON or only when the Keyswitch is ON...

3) With Connector J5 disconnected, what is the OHMs in the TH J5 Socket between J5-Pin13 and J5-Pin14?

Also, can you please use my diagram in the Sportsterpedia & confirm that each of your connectors are oriented as I have them and that the wire colors in each connector are as I have identified them.
WILL DO. I LOOKED WITHOUT MY REFERENCE AND IT DID LOOK CORRECT.

Your help is much appreciated to get this information pinned down for certain for future reference.

Let us know more info about the current problem after you have a chance to verify your wiring. I think I read that the TH unit needs to be powered down to reset any fault conditions.
CURRENT ISSUE WAS THE VERY THIN WIRES GOING TO THE HANDLEBAR UNIT WERE CRUSHED A LITTLE AND SHORTED ON THE CASING. IM OT SUPER INPRESSED WITH THEM AS THEY LEAVE NO ROOM TO SNAKE THE WIRES AND THE BUTTONS WANT TO SNAG. I PUT A LITTLE LITHIUM OIL ON THE BUTTONS, WHICH HELPED. IF PEOPLE HAVE SOMEWHAT MINIMALIST HANDLEBAR CONTROLS THEY LIKE, I'M ALL EARS.
