A pic from last week; now with a pair of LSL risers instead of the Rizoma risers; with the Valter Moto triple tree kit I like the design of the LSL better.

Next on the list: a steering damper under the triple tree; I will go with a 75mm Wilbers CSC (same like the Hyperpro CSC)...

Some pics from today; test fitted the steering damper with some Hyperpro clamps; now will have to fabricate a bracket to mount the steering damper clamp to the frame...

Do you really need a steering dumper?
Beautiful piece of work anyway...

The geometry of my XR is quite different to a stock XR; rake, offset and trail are different, 17" front wheel instead of 18", 15mm lowerd forks and 30mm raised rear (390mm shocks instead of 360mm).
At all the geometry of the bike works VERY good especially in the twisties, but sometimes it's a bit nervous at higher speed.

Hopefully I will never "need" the steering damper, but it's good to know it's there if I should ever need it.
