Except you have the indicator lights still on top of the riser clamp. Mine are part of the speedo bracket so they are down where the top of the triple tree is. A bit hard to see, but better than seeing them too much.
You had been contemplating how to change yours off an on when I showed you mine and it gave you an idea. I think you went right to it the next day and came up your slightly different approach that worked since I think you already had the top plate done but weren't happy with the speedo location.
My speedo bracket has the holes for lights too but they sit over the top of the triple tree just barely giving the appearance of not even being there which worked out great for me. The speedo bracket was the last thing I did. I remember searching for a few days for a top clamp that accommodated the stock incandescent indicator bar. To my knowledge this is the only one. Snapped right in. I forget the exact year it's off of atm but it's a late 90s model.

I remember everyone using a different one piece assembly that moved the speedo in front instead of closer to the tank. It stuck up so far I didn't like it and the search began. You also had to replace the indicator bar with the slightly longer, narrower led one along with something else that also made it more expensive. I have those part #s and my part #s in a thread buried here for some time now.

Update-

I dropped the bills to avoid the headache of finding someone with the tools I needed who could help me with the mods.

I got the RSD Gauge Relocator kit, and the Joker Machine bar clamp that had a strip for the indicator lights (i wanted to keep those).

Easy install. Moved the turn signals from my handle bars to my forks (though now my stock turn signals stick off a lot and look awful... time to find smaller turn signals that I like), and the speedo to the top of the fork tubes.

Downside is I no longer have room for a forkbag, so I moved the fork bag to the swing arm and it doesnt look bad at all.

Note- I did have a harley certified tech work on this for me so he re positioned my headlight so it was lighting up the street well. There were no surprises in this one. Speedo is mostly easy to see, and the indicator lights are easy to see. If my bars were taller then the speedo would be invisible, but Im happy with how it all looks.
