Tool for locking the sprockets. Flat steel stock, 4" X 1" X 3/16". Worked perfectly.

ok so next i was wondering if anyone had any opinions on a few matters i was thinking about 1st is does anyone know the law or where to find it on ape hangers and how high they can be and i am also wondering if there is a system to pulling the case apart or does it just fall apart once u pull the last few bolts out that are under the clutch basket sorry for all the questions i am asking i am glad u guys are here to help me i try to do it by myself but i was taught when i was younger if u dont know something ask so u can do it right the first time and not have to keep doing it over and over again

I do not know law about these things, but i have heard it is something about shoulder height. Some years ago one guy had his installed somewhat loosely so that he could pull them back&down if ...

yea that is what someone around here was telling me but then they said u have to be carefull if u go out on a ride and u use the handle bars to pull yourself and adjust yourself on the seat u could end up wrecking if they come down to far and thanks ironmick u have been alot of help through this site as well as the other one with the pics of the tools and places to check out i watched the video's u had i like the back yard u got and your bike looks and sounds awsome hope mine can come close to that someday it will take alot of time and elbow grease but i will get it soon i hope
