Question Leaking from the clutch adjuster

Hey everybody, my '07 nightster leaks tranny fluid from the adjuster nut no it was not over filled. I know there isn't supposed to be any fluid up there. Here's the deal, the primary is becoming pressurized and is pushing tranny fluid up the cable, when I unscrew on of the inspection cover bolts it hisses loudly like opening a soda can. The leak stops after the release of the pressure. So when I am done riding I have to release the pressure or it will leak. I don't think it is supposed to do this. So why is it pressurizing and how do I fix it?
I took it to the stealership and they were no help at all. I think I knew more about the thing than they did.

I don't know, I'm not sure where the vent is so I haven't been able to fiddle with it.

Item #23 in this schematic. You can find it coming out of the engine case on the back in front of the rear wheel.
