Default whiskey throttle

anyone have a problem with their whiskey throttle from biltwell? i cant get mine to spin freely. it seizes up about quarter throttle. i am using just the tube and the housing is a lowbrow. its not the housing because the tube hangs up with nothing on the bar at all. i have noticed that the internal machining is pretty poor but my finger isnt long enough to reach it. just wondering if anyone has had this problem and came up with a solution besides throwing it in the trash can

If it’s rough can you run a brake hone through it?

I was thinking that but I need to get one. I just wasnt sure if it was common or not. I bought this particular one as soon as they came out and never put it on until yesterday. It looks like their bit broke on the tooling before it reached the bottom of the sleeve. I'm hoping that a hone might work but I might have to but a sending drum on the drill press. It's that bad lol.

No I have tried it on two different 1" bars. Dimpled and smooth. I'm gonna have to polish the inside of the tube I think. Might add a roller to the end of the bar. I fiddled with it a bit today its hanging up in the deepest quarter of the tube on the bar. I'm pretty displeased but custom bike custom problems eh lol.

If you push them to far, rubbing the end of the handle bar will cause frrictions.
