Yep, that sounds pretty good for a standard 6009. Mine was .008" after a year of riding.
I think the SKF 'explorer' bearings are probably as good as we can get for the basket currently.

Venturing beyond that to exotic NUP rollers can give even less play initially but exposes you to
problems with fake supplies that wear prematurely.

Incidentally, the Barnett springs have a reputation for being on the heavy side, so maybe fit the lightest.
I went with their extra plate kit and kept the diaphragm spring because fortunately the hub splines were OK.

You must be close to getting it back together!

I looked Into the NUP & Exhausted that Search to the Furthest Extent.
They Are NO LONGER Available From Any Reputable MFGs.

So that leads Me to Believe that what we are seeing on the WEB is Most Likely
Nockoffs.
