72 xlch, return side remote filter
wanna know what pn/brands are being used there
doin too much readin bout anti drainback, pressure relief, and microns
can read whatever ya wanna hear
my remote has 3/4" thread, allowing almost anything to fit, new or old

Try WIX
51215 Black
51225 Chrome
You can look up the specs on on their web site. These two should do you just fine, the chrome one is the one I use. You'll notice they don't have an anti drain back valve, you don't need one on the return side of the system it would just add a little more restriction anyhow.

If your filter base has 3/4 threads, you need a 63796-77A, or an aftermarket filter that crosses to that number. That filter will have the correct micron rating for a return side filter.

i got away from the chrome replacement filters long ago.been using the black Napa Gold spin-on.p/n1215 from memory.the 1374 mentioned previously has the anti-drainback valve i believe.i didn't want on my ironhead,i do use it on my '03.
