I took my first ride in November. The forecast was for 65° but I think the temp on the curvy mountain roads was closer to 56°.
There are a few spots where the leaves are still on the trees, but most are now on the ground.
I rode about 65 miles in the two hours I was carving those curvy mountain roads. My adrenaline was pumping while being cautious of the slippery leaves and hidden gravel.
It was a good day for some KooL Therapy. Check out My Motorcycle Chronicles.

I was out for another ride while it's still early November. The temperature rose to 72° and the day was beautiful.
I was looking forward to some enjoyable curves. While I always try to be prepared for the unexpected, emergency swerving was not on my mind when I started down the road.
You can read the rest of the story at My Motorcycle Chronicles.

Nice Ken, and thanks for sharing.
Honda running like a top but electrical giving me fits. I’m not the first one to have been poking around in here. Whomever was in before me managed to deviate from 5he factory schematic, argh! When I correct the errors I’ve found I now have more issues than before. He grimaces while banging his head on the wall!!!!

I typically get about 4-years of service out of my batteries. I ride at least once a month over winter but don't use a tender.

Yep - Sometimes folks find a problem & fix it in the wrong way - It works, but it's still the wrong way to do things. Then someone else comes along and finds the bad fix, undoes it, and the original problem shows up...

Brake light back, all four turns work with front ones as running lights, tachometer working again and most of lower dash lights work as normal. Headlight out but I suspect the dimmer switch....TBD

I was out for another ride - mid-November.
It was a cool day (about 60°) and it was mostly overcast.
I still enjoyed a great ride and had a good sandwich.
Pennsylvania Dutch Hex Signs adorn many a barn in PA.
You can read more here: https://www.atlasobscura.com/article...f-pennsylvania
"While Ott wasn’t the first person to make the barn star designs portable — that probably happened in 1950 when Kutztown Folk Festival director Dr. Alfred Shoemaker and artist Milton Hall responded to festival-goers desire to purchase barn stars — Ott’s emphasis on magical properties popularized the signs to such an extent that they have become emblematic of Pennsylvania German Culture."
Referring to Ott's claim of Magical Powers:
"If you believe in that kind of thing, four- and five-pointed stars conjure good luck. Eight-pointed stars conjure fertility or abundance. Two distelfinks — the Pennsylvania German word for goldfinches — conjure love and happiness in marriage. Sixteen points bring prosperity. A bird of paradise means welcome. The rosettes and stars of a “Daddy Hex” ward off famine. Oaks and acorns bring strength."
As always, the rest of my ride story is in My Motorcycle Chronicles.
