7.5k SE ignition module question
Hi. I just purchased a NOS SE 7.5 ignition module (32967-98) for my '99 1200S.
Is the installation just plug-n-play, or are there other recommended steps?
Thanks for any advise. I won't be installing this for a few weeks, so just trying to learn up in the meantime.

Try Ronnie’s HD parts finder, put in the year and model, navigate to jiffy stand, and you should see what it looks like. I don’t think it was specific to the S model, probably was on many different Sportster models.

this is my first time back on the forum in years. The CV carb on my 99 'S' probably needs rebuilt from sitting up, the ethynol gums it up quickly. But i've been considering putting on a Mikuni 42. If i do, will it be plug and play, or will I have to rejett it? I only ask this because the S model came with different jets in the CV than standard sporty models. THanks for any insight, and it's good to be back..

I did the swap years ago, (2005). I read the tuning manual and bolted it on and ran it while following the advice in the tuning manual. I did need to richen it up a bit. I was pretty close to sea level. I was in Norfolk VA ,then moved to the gulf coast of Texas. IIRC I was running a 97 needle on the middle, a 21.5 pilot and a 167.5 needle. I also had the stick fuel valve with the vacuum shut-off. After replacing the valve with a Golan I was able to go to a 165. I've always erred on the rich side. Always safer. Follow the manual.
You may have to repute the throttle cables. I did. I'd you just bolt it on the bike will run pretty good. Check your plugs on high speed runs.
