Forest Lodge & Campground Mairenville, Pa.
I’ve been thinking of spending some time camping and riding around the Allegheny National Forest this spring. While looking around for a place to call home while there, I was told of the Forest Lodge and Campground and was wondering if anybody has any experience with the place.
Reviews on the web are few but all are sort of positive. Place is small and looks like the Ox-Bow in Galeton from meet & greet’s past and is geared towards off-road riders because of the nearby trails.
Any feedback on interesting twisty roads in the area would also be helpful.
Cheers.

Hey Mick,
You're a bit too far outside my typical 100mi circle, so I don't really know the roads there but if you want some destinations to enjoy in the middle of your riding...
South from there
100 mi to Flight93 Memorial at Shanksville
80 mi to Horseshoe Curve near Altoona
80 mi to Famous Flood & Incline RR at Johnstown
Southwest from there
75 mi to Pittsburgh
East from there
100 mi to PA Grand Canyon (Pine Creek Gorge) west of Williamsport
Northeast from there
40 mi to Kinzua Bridge SP near Rt6 south of Bradford
Northwest from there
60 mi to Presque Isle SP at Erie
Post up when you're planning to be there. I might extend my range to share a bit of road together...

Have been looking at topo maps already. I’ve been know to find an interesting road or two to ride.
I could bring my quad and play in the woods.
