Default It was 15 years ago today

We lost a true legend, Stevie Ray Vaughan left us. I'll never forget that Monday when the word came down that Stevie was killed in a helicopter crash leaving a gig in Alpine Valley, An Oak Cliff, Texan was proudly clean and sober and on top up his game. I had the pleasure of seeing Stevie play many times including his last Dallas performance in 1989 to promote his " In Step " CD, which in my opinion was his best.
I have a lot of SRV loaded in my MP3 player and later on today, it will be me , the music, and the Sporty, we'll be taken a long ride in the country.
Continue to rest in piece my freind.

We did loose a great one that day.
I cry not for the loss of a memory of what he gave to us,
I cry for the Music he never got to give us.

RIP Stevie.

One bad dude... Rockin for the angels I assume.
Probably doin a lil gig with Janis Joplin. Roy O and Buddy Holly are taking leads every now and again.

Long live Texas and the rich music is inspires.

Adios
