I had a wet primary belt drive and used Pennsoil Ashless Dispersant Aircraft Oil.
No detergents that dissolve stuff. Good for air cooled engines. Worked fine with a Barnett clutch.
More recently, I was not able to find that and went to Aeroshell 100. That’s a 50w equivalent.

It is a very good oil. Very expensive...Too expensive for me to drain it out every 5000km's. And....it is not really an answer to Billy's question about the free oil he has got

Cheers chaps, well the bottles don't say anything about JASO or MA2 so it's not " blended" with wet clutches in mind.. I just though a cheap mineral would have minimal additives that would cause issue..

Not to worry i..

Well, you still can use it as engine oil. Primary uses only about a quart anyway...

Yes I will use it for the engine it should be fine especially the freq I change it..
