Had an issue with mine last summer. Wouldn’t start. Battery was 1 year old. Starter would click so I took it off and had it tested, no issues. Brought battery in to get tested, voltage good and positive load test. Replaced the positive and negative cables, still nothing. Jumped it with my Roadster it fired right up. Brought in battery and argued I needed it swapped, put new one it in, been working ever since. Sometimes even the right testing doesn’t show you the problem, case in point my brothers ignition coil very recently.

Electrical issues are the worst but absolutely easy to find if you divide and isolate and be methodical you will resolve the issue.

What about the speed sensor on the right side behind and below the rear cylinder.

...might also want to consider 4 gauge battery cables instead of stock 6 gauge.

Finally did the swap yesterday. Bike started up with gear/RPM this morning like normal so that was definitely it.

I've been feeling like my autotune sessions would make a big improvement on the canned tune I'm using and then head further and further into the weeds from there. This morning I had seat-of-the-pants horsepower improvements all over the rev range and throttle blips while rev matching were nice and crisp. That might just be the reset though.

Oh, and I finally found my obligatory factory cross threaded fastener. The brass insert that the battery strap threads into came out with the bolt. I couldn't even get it off the bolt with pliers.

Which seems to be integral with the $43 battery tray.
