Default Keep the V&H head pipes or go stock?

I'm going to be installing SE II's at some point this winter. Bike already has the V&H head pipes on it. Should I leave those on or install the stock head pipes with crossover, I have them. 99 1200S.

Well the crossover adds some horsepower, but many don't like the looks.
It's a preference thing.

It will carburate better with the headpipes with a crossover.
