Love my windshield. When people tell me they love the feel of the wind in their face, they never mention the bugs. Just sayin'.....
That's how to recognize a happy biker; by the bugs on their teeth!

Got a Spitfire shield for my 2000 XLH. Put a little winglet on the top that cut all the buffeting but still good airflow. Seems to work well. Being so hot right now, I took it off but will go back on when it gets cold.

+1. Easy on or off in 5 minutes. My H-D Compact is super high quality, 15 years old and goin' strong. The base stays with it. All you do is clamp or release the cam locks from the top of the forks. No tools necessary. Excellent design.
When I finished my 120 mile ride this morning, my windshield was covered in bugs and my helmet's face shield was clean. The short windshield (the top is level with the bottom of my chin) sends the bugs over top of my head. If I ever replace my Sporty, the windshield stays with me.

I usually have a windshield although as it happens, I don’t have one on the Sportster. My Triumph T100 has a Triumph one which came with the bike, and works very well.

I have the Harley quick release on my windshield and it takes me less than 10 seconds to take it off and about 20 seconds to put it on.....takes a little longer to put it on since I have to line it up to the level I want. I rarely ride without the windshield on and I enjoy the ride more with it on. As usual, though, each to his own,

Windshields are for 4-wheeled vehicles (cages).
