Questions??? Cams, Ignition, Jetting, Computers on a '98 and more...
I have a 1998 883 XLH. With an aftermarket aircleaner and drag pipes.

Recently purchased Buell '07 XB12 complete top end.
Got a front mount bracket from HammerPerf.
I plan to install everything jugs, pistons, heads, rockers, and covers.
Question 1: Will the this clear the frame?
I want to use the Buell PCV Valve system so I don't have to drill breathers in the heads. I have read it is a better solution as oppose to catch cans anyway. So I have spent a lot of time polishing the rocker covers ideally to take them to a mirror finish instead of the ugly oil stained textured finish that they had. From what I have read this has been done but it is difficult (possibly have to unbolt the motor).
Question 2: What cams should I grab?
I am leaning toward Andrews N4's. I am unsure if I should buy these new or try to find takeoffs from a Buell (and switch the 1 and 4 gears). Also I am considering some more agressive stock takeoff than a stock 883 has. Or something else, please drop some knowledge on me pertaining to my set up. N6's? Some other brand that wont cost me $250?
Question 3: What Ignition Module? Is it neccessary?
I am leaning toward a Dynatek 2000i. Mainy for the price. But also I am considering replacing my single mechanical speedometer with a Raspberry Pi and touchscreen. Then I can integrate the stock speedo/tach wiring as well as the engine temp sensor for the buell head. Plus gps and the ability to start the bike from my phone... not that that is neccessary at all. Maybe a battery meter too. The dyna I think is programmable via usb so if I need to I can use the Pi to program the ignition curve while I am doing 80mph.
Question 4: Have I lost my mind?
Many have said yes... I won't hold it against you.
Question 5: Jetting the carb? / New Carb?
Had not planned on buying a new carb. Should I? Currently I believe I have a stock pilot and my main jet is a 190 which is very rich for the 883. But with a 1203... I don't know. I didn't jet it to a 190 the guy before me did, I just have yet to change it.
Question 6: Anything else?
My budget is actually tight I know the computer thing sounds expensive but it's not Pi's are cheap. I have thought maybe upgrade the pistons, but it is my impression that Buell's stock ones ain't bad in the XB12 and plus then I would have to pay to get it honed probably. Head work... I don't know I think cams and ignition may be a better spend. Its probably either or at this point and I don't thinkyou can do head work without the others though.
Whose got the knowledge?
