LePera turned out to be very unpleasant.
Trying this Sully. Ride report later.

I think that is key. To a novice, a Corbin for example would seem way too hard. But after riding with one vs stock for many many many miles, I can tell you that soft doesn't work and i'll take the "hard" Corbin over anything else I've tried.

Gel pads are OK, but have a limit and then all of a sudden its utter pain.

I don't know much about the Mustangs, but everyone I know who does long-distance riding uses Corbin or Mustang. And perhaps an airhawk pad for trips that are several days.

Sully is my favorite so far around town but my passenger hates it. Added air hawk.
Will post ride report after we have a chance to spend more time in the saddle.

Thanks for the link to mean city for the seat mods. I just hope they can help with my ST seat.

My 92 XL has a stock seat, I went on a run the other day (about 120 miles)... it was fine for about 70 miles then increasingly uncomfortable.

Mind you, the Biltwell it replaced was like sitting on a milk crate...
