Update after disassembly. Lots of rust and crap in tank from years of sitting with ethanol, etc. Due to lots of dirt, ordered pump, filter house with hose (want to replace hose), filter and screen kit, and just for grins two injectors. Also removed tank to manifold hose and injectors. Dirt in all. Cleaned hose and manifold and then tested injectors for spray pattern....very nice. Will likely just reuse injectors for now since spraying fine. Replace other in tank parts. Finally figured out that the hose clamp is a 12.3 oetiker and the one securing the pump is a 50mm. Fine, but you cant get piece of this corrugated in-tank hose of the short length....about 4 inches. They seem to offer a long one...but you cant cut to fit...aaargh. Making things way too difficult. Also have tried to find some new orings for the injectors and the tank hose....also difficult. The sizes do not seem to match either inch or mm size ranges....again, aaargh. Of course, HD does not break out these small parts....my bad.

not trying to be a pain-
if hd injectors are like car injectors & your cleaning the entire fuel system. if there is a lot of dirt/sand in fuel line you might want to send injectors off to be cleaned also.
someone like https://www.witchhunter.com - or any other co. that cleans injectors
mods - no, i do not work for them, i have had them clean car injectors for me.
you choose what you like tho-

I posted on another thread about finding a pinched or damaged fuel line....the terrible bend probably caused this...you can feel a very soft section in the bend near the tag. Further, on pump noise, I would call the normal sound a humm...have had a couple HDs with the pump and am used to that normal sound, very similar that that on a car when you can hear them...under car, etc. But, this one had a very loud squeal on a couple ocassions when I turned on key. Not normal. So, I got a jap pump, new filter house with filters and screen....and the new hose on the house. Just posted my problems with reassy....lots of fun. Pump that was on the bike was made in Czech....orig?

Sorry to double up....forgot to address the injector cleaning. Got the cheap kit with wire harness and plastic adapter for carb cleaner. Turned the injectors on, and ran the cleaner thru to see spray pattern....very nice on both....am OK with that.

The fuel pump squeal is very strange. My 2018 SGS doesn't do this after sitting for weeks, but my 2019 Iron 883 (with only 250 miles on it) sure does and it is very loud. I cycled the run/stop switch 6 times in a row before it finally stopped squealing and sounded like a normal fuel pump prime.
