Just a thought, maybe the battery was damaged from being fully discharged.

The map I posted is just of cool roads in the area..... Open to suggestions of how to make it work!
Do you plan on staying in Zanesville ?

If you want to stay closer to the best roads Athens or Hocking Hills area would be a place to look at.

Last time I did a forum Ohio ride we stayed in the Hocking hills area but some of the roads we we're on in that area were really busy and it was hard to keep everyone together.

+1 on this, it's an awesome area to visit, with some good roads, but too much traffic for riding.

Caldwell is a pretty good spot, central to a lot of the good roads, also convenient for someone to meet up with you for the day.

Just to let you know, Rt 536 (the scene of my crash) was in pretty sad shape when I rode it in June, I haven't been back down to check it out, but I thought I'd let you know.

I am off next week. I am going to try and make it up there and check it out

Any news Woody?

This weekend is still too hot for me. I am looking harder at October. Weather will be the final factor. Cool, cloudy are great. Steady rain, not so much!

Hope I can make it happen.
