Great day out!
We moved to the California Sierra foot hills in August. Starting to turn seasons up here. Had a 70 degree afternoon today. Not going to be many more of these this year. Had to take advantage of it! Did add Stabil to the tank, in case it's a while before we get out again....... IMG_5194.jpg

Glad you had a nice day out. I ride at least once a month over the winter, as long as there's no snow or salt on the roads. There's aways a few days a month of bright sunshine, even if the rides are short. See My Motorcycle Chronicles.
Thanks for posting a picture.

Thanks. Winter is going to be interesting. We shouldn't get a ton of snow. Do get the feeling my Aerostitch suit will be good to have.......

Ken, when I covered the bike this afternoon I noticed ice on the sheepskin!

Hey Paul - You're not suppose to leave your Phd Diploma on the bike...
I don't think it's been down to 32° overnight here yet... Don't remember seeing any frost on the ground... But I'm sure it's coming...
It was 40° at 8am today - Brrrrrrr! And headed to 50° for mid-afternoon - Of course, in mid-January, that 50° temp would seem warm & inspire a short ride after days of 25°... Funny how our bodies sorta-acclimate to the average temperature and we perceive the same temperature differently depending on the ambient average over a month-or-more....
I once had a black-ice accident in my car... Never want to experience that on the bike.
Ride Safe...

Yes Ken, and also the acclimation to the cold. Been doing well down to the higher 30F’s but low 30F-upper 20F’s are going to require some use of the electric gear. At least in runs over an hour.
Keep it safe and cover your 6!

We've had weeks of rain here in the UK, so no rides for a while. I'm keeping my chainsaw in the car as so many trees down and roads blocked.

Nice and the bike is cool! Should be on two in a bit here in Massachusetts as it’s warming to 60 degrees. Will be testing the Go Pro on a full face helmet that a customer gave me.

Barry, what’s this “car” thing you speak of?
