former "German" introduction deleted and replaced

I am an elderly (>60) sportster-pilot with > 30 yrs on the same bike.

Slowly, retired, forum-newbee, a bit lost on IN related subjects, so pls excuse

to make long story short:

I did not bike a lot this year because I am stuck with a technical carburator issue (I guess so).

I would not even know under which header "in this forum" I am supposed to post my question ...
... and how to do so.

So, anybody pointing me to the right direction or constructive critics always welcome

dies ist ein Englischsprachiges Forum deshalb wird es ohne Englisch auch schwierig.
