Default Parrothead's Fleet has Expanded

While I was recovering from my being sick in the past two weeks I got bored and for no reason looked at Craigslist. I saw something I could not believe, a cherry looking 2007 1200 Roadster for an unbelievably low price of $3,500! I called the guy and made arrangements to check it out Saturday, and then called Screw Loose Dan for the use of his trailer since I had every intention of purchasing it.

Today Dan and I went to look at it and it followed us home

The bike has just shy of 19,000 miles on it, all LED lights, and since he was no longer riding I got a blue tooth headset, a jack, and a bunch of other stuff.

Thanks for the help DAN!!!!

Looks like a great deal to me, I love the 1200r and probably would not have been able to resist either.

Too many list. First is different bars, seat, and windshield so it is rideable by me. Then start setting it up for long distance riding like my 2006 Sporty

Very exciting! Love the yellow (almost as sexy as the orange ) I'm guessing that purdy tank will be needing to be replaced though. The EFI will be a bit different for you and I'm sure Dan will fill you in on carrying spare relays for when you get wet. I look forward to watching you transform it.
So excited for you Chris! A great way to find some motivation after being so crook

This was Chris' first spin on the new bike (just around the parking lot):

This is a sharp looking bike! He got a heck of a deal. Even though I don't need another 1200R, I am a bit jealous.

Looks Great! - Daymaker headlight?

Is this for fun or as a spare IBR bike?

sportytrace is right - Here's the note from the fuse section of the Sportsterpedia:
sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/techtalk:evo:elec02
NOTE: These model years have a significant history of corrosion and gunk collecting in the fuse/relay tray causing low-grade shorts and erratic electrical operation - This is especially problematic if the bike is left outside or operated in the rain. It's a good idea to check & thoroughly clean this tray at least every year (or 4 to 6 months if parked outside).

Good Luck with it...

Congratulations
Your smile on her is a precious thing...

Nice Roadster
If i were in your shoes i'd keep her like she is.... maybe stripped of some stuff...

Yet i know you have different needs than me... (IBR)
