I've never done a paint booth before, and to be honest I have no idea if the filters will do the trick. The plan is to have the garage door open just above the fans, with some extra plastic taped to the bottom of the fans. The filters are doubled up, so I'm hoping they catch all the paint...

The door is actually a "ZipWall" from Home Depot, $9 and you stick it to the plastic. Then you unzip it once it's stuck and use a razor knife to cut down the middle. Viola! A door! Pretty slick really, creative.

And now to add what I did tonight, sprocket chop and finished my exhaust bracket. Also disassembled my poor excuse of a coil relo bracket in preparation for actually making a proper one...

Yeah I emptied my ashtray on sunday about noon and last night about 630 it spontanously went up. IDk fire dept blamed it on my cigarette butts but I was in the garage most of the afternoon working on the bike and it wasn't smoldering or anything, IDK

So I'm looking at the "cut" you made? The section that had the plate is now gone?

Looks great. Got anymore pics of the cut/install?

I figure for the gap, not a big deal if you stuck a spacer or somethign and a longer seat bolt.

The brackets that hold the plate and the small reflectors were removed when I put on my side mount plate bracket. Yes you will have to remove that bracket & cut those metal strips off. You will also need to find another way to mount your plate. There are 3 holes on the top of the fender, I cut directly in front of the second hole. Im rigid mounting a solo style seat from redtail leather so there would be a gap there anyways for me. Here is another pic, you can see the where the side pieces of the fender where cut:

Thanks for that Crazy...
I was wondering where to make the cut. gonna do the same.
Any clearance issues?
It looks a lot lower too.

Pick her up after getting tires mounted and a lube service. Get home and what do i see.... a small puddle forming under my bike.
Oh and it snowed... again so can't go back to the dealer. Last time they touch my scoot I swear.
