Yep. New soles on the boots once a year and good to go.

I sure don't remember who exactly. I just called them like I always do with any manufacturer when I need to know more.

Also, if this is of any help, I have a Roadster, and with the dual rotors. I ended up using EBC non sintered pads to stop the bike from locking up with very little pressure on the lever. With the organic pads, there is excellent control on the front.

I would always keep the tins though, because I do not like brake squeal. Just butter up both sides of the tins like I mentioned earlier, and the brakes are nice and quite. A lot of squeal originates between the caliper and the pad, and also between the pad and the tins.

Ok
Thanks everyone
I think i have bought the right ones... since with one single front disk is difficult have a surplus of stopping power... then there is also ABS...

I'm not worried for potential grooves on rotors... since they are already present with the stock sinterized ones... and they were present also on my previous 2001 Hugger...

mountain roads and spirited riding claim their tolls even with low powered bikes

today bought a brake cleaner can... and all pieces are on the shelf in my shed for when i will need them... it will take around 2 o 3 thousand kms to wear completely the current ones (third pair in 50k kms)...

by the way... last week test rode an MT10SP...
Yamaha dealer offered me a good deal to swap with mine... only few thousand Euros...

for the moment i keep her though... i love the way she deliver her torque...
