Thumbs up Picture Resizing Tool

Here is a handy dandy little picture resizing tool....it keeps the full qaulity of the pic as well ! (I found that 600x450 is a good size for posting and attatching in forums without file size problems)

***** WINDOWS XP Image Resizer...This PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a single right-click.

ImageResizer.exe

Once installed, you can select one or multiple photos to resize, then right click one of the files and choose "resize pictures" pick a predefined size or do a custom size...It's that easy !

There are several more XP Power Tools here....

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

***** VISTA users go here for a resizing tool------> http://www.powerhourgame.com/windows...ge_resizer.htm

enjoy.

I love this little utility!! I have used it in the past QUITE a bit. It's about the handiest thing ever. Small, compact, easy to use...what else could you want!

Unfortunately, it does not work on Vista (or not that I've been able to figure out how). If anyone runs across a similar tool for Vista let me know.

ps - You don't need to ask in the title of your thread to make something a sticky...simply PM an admin and they will usually honor the request.

Scott - As I said in my previous post, I absolutely loved the Windows Power Toy resizer, but was disappointed when I couldn't find an acceptable replacement. The link you provided to Prish Image Resizer is *really* close to being a perfect replacement!! It's so much easier to use than any other resizer I had found. Not quite on par with the Microsoft one for XP...but close enough!! Thanks!!

Note to anyone that tries to use it...it didn't tell me after the install that I needed to reboot. It didn't work properly until I rebooted my machine. Just a heads up.

Just upload your large pics to Photobucket.com and they automatically resize them for you and give you instant IMG codes so you can hotlink them to any forum on the net..
