You know we were talking about these “Meets”, and how we started over 15 years ago with maybe 30 members showing up and we’ve seen the numbers dwindle down to a fortunate handful. Now mostly “C.O.B.B.’ers, and we’re still getting it done. Was nice that Larry and Mark were able to participate, and getting Ed involved after about a 10 year absence!

The ‘East-Coast Meet & Greet’ was always the event of the year. All the avatars got faces and the line of parked sportsters was a site to see. Sad to see it on life support.
I’m expecting some new internal body jewelry soon and the recovery period will give me time to study some maps for next years C.O.B.B. gathering.
Cheers.

Well one last update to this thread.
Not getting any new titanium hardware in my shoulder. It is going to be sliced open on Nov. 3. They’re going grind down the joint, repair my bicep tendon, then fix the rotator cuff and two other shoulder muscle tears. Probably going to be just as painful as a new joint because of all the work that will be done.
And on the nasty tappet noise my bike made after taking it out of the trailer when I arrived, it hasn’t made the noise again. Changed the oil and filter and put on a few hundred miles since. nothing funny in the drained oil and found no metal in the filter when I split it open.
It must of have gotten motion sick from being bounced around in a very hot dark trailer for two days.
Cheers all and thanks for joining the event.
