you might find 1/2 pint to a pint of "extra" oil accumulating

No oil is "accumulated", the case is purged continuously.

I would be a lot more concerned about how adding 8 inches to the front end affects the handling. Bad enough as it is.

Apparently, many missed the identification as "75XLH".
It's not a mini-sump, and has no oil level in the crankcase.

The oil does have to migrate from the case gallery forward to the hole it drops through.

But the effects of inertia as you accelerate and brake are probably more of a problem than the slight incline the forks add.

It actually doesn't handle too bad, most of the roads it's on are pretty straight so that's no biggie. I was just wondering if there was any oiling concern, I'm not familiar too familiar with ironheads, this is my first one, I inherited it when my dad passed.

Ah !

OK then. Pretty much needs to stay just as it is.

I'm a road racer at heart I think choppers are just art.

(Not really, but I made a rhyme.)

This is one of those things that is mostly of concern to theorists and those inflicted with OCD. It may impede oil flow by 0.0001%. Or not.

A LOT of "choppers" made over time, first thing to be done was extended forks. 6 over being very common in the 70's. Most people didn't change their frames.

Your very lucky to have inherited a bike like that. It's why Harley built them they way they did. Strong and simple. Able to be rebuilt repeatedly by the average mechanic. Being handed down from father to son.

I had to buy my own.

Yeah definitely got lucky, I've had it for around a year, it's just that trying to find time to teach myself how to work on it is tough

Quit your job.

Sell a small portion of your stocks and bonds maybe even some gold.

With the market the way it is might be time to sell a house or two and definitely some commercial real estate.

That should set you up.
