Default From Tillitson to Mikuni VM38-9 vent tube?

http://xlforum.net/forums/attachment...1&d=1529857092
Good wishes to all,
i am transitioning from the Tillotson HD1D to a Mikuni Carb VM39-8 but do not know what to do with the vent tube that the Tilli used to work with from the gas tank. It is a 71 XLCH (Kick your knees to crippling state) any advice? Is it to be capped off or joined with the feed line by the way of a T fitting?

Just cap it and get a vented gas cap. Or vent it way down low, away from heat.
