Ron, you might find a local community that offers Tai-chi, for low cost or next to nothing. It’d be worth looking into. I believe there are videos on internet that could guide you if you chose to train at home. Back when I was training and doing tournaments I found the slow motion moves gave me more energy and better workouts. I’ve got lifelong aches and pains to show for it as well as belts and trophies.
Like Ken mentioned earlier, it’s “one day at a time”, so make the most of everyone. Life is short!

A wise observation...

This is one of the recipes for failure. With BLACK OR WHITE thinking, because we almost never succeed in perfection, every effort (even if forward a bit) looks like failure. If you change your perspective to - Am I moving in the direction of my goal? - Is this choice going to move me closer to my goal? - that is going to help you see success as small steps in the right direction.

Since we all fail, one step backward feels really bad - but it can be followed by two steps forward (once you get back up). As the old saying goes, every trip starts with the first step - but the trip is also only accomplished by continuing to take one step (no matter how small) after another.

Very few (IF ANYONE) can simply LEAP ONCE from where they are to reach their ultimate goal. It takes step, step, step, step, with a commitment to move in the right direction. Don't let current failures keep you from achieving your future goal. All the great inventors failed many, many times before achieving their goals.

The other old adage: How do you eat an Elephant? One bite at a time. (Not that I'm encouraging the eating of endangered species. )

A positive attitude and approach to life can get you over some really rough times.
