Default Need help with identification of Linkert DC manifolds

I'm looking for a manifold for Linkert DC-10 carb. There're 2 types of 900 manifolds on ebay (pics from ebay listings):

Which type is correct for DC-10?

Either of those should work.
They made steel manifolds from 57 to 71, alloy after that.

Both Big Twins and Sportsters used the same things.

The Big Twins ran the same carbs.

I believe the correct ones for Sportsters don't have the wide "ridge" inside where the incoming air/fuel hits the back wall but a sharper, pointed ridge. "Hard to describe but you'll know it when you see it".

I'm sure any could be made to work but according to this info the manifold used during the linkert years had a slightly closer bolt hole spacing. I have one that matches that dimension along with the throat diameter of 1.562". It has the sharp pointed ridge that Ferrous Head mentioned.

I believe the throat dimension for the 27021-71, 27021-71a, listed here may be an error. The throat size of the one from my 1974 measures 1.660" which is also the size of the bendix carb that came on it. Bolt hole spacing is 2.750. It has the wide ridge. not he sharp point where the runners intersect.

So the top photo is the one with the sharp ridge?

For a Linkert you need the 27021-57.

In 71 they went to the Bendix on the Shovel which was probably why they changed the bolt holes.
