I looked at that video several times and you can see the lights light in the pass. window of the dark gray car and sort of follow them up to when he hits. It was completely in the camera's blind spot with the Dark gray car blocking it thru the curve.

Amazing.
I don,t know what the frame rate is but there are 12 frames between brakelight and impact.

You can see the led hi level come on before the bulbed mains so you,re looking at less than a second I reckon.

And nowhere before or after the grey car passes can you see the vw ahead on the road.

Makes me wonder if its been doctored.
If you watch the nearest left hand lamppost base just after the overtaking car reveals it then something comes and goes, frame by frame

Damn, I,ve got too much time …..

Video has been doctored on, if you follow the line in the road you will see it disappear then reappear at impact.
