Thanks IXL. I noticed the small spacer on the left side has a ring etched towards one side. Is there a significance to its orientation (inside or outside)?

The rings on the spacers distinguish the length of the spacer (no reason otherwise).
Just make sure that each spacer on either side of the bearings has the chamfered end pointed toward the wheel bearings.

I originally said that as a visual (basically look for the chamfers instead of the rings).
But I believe the chamfer goes toward the bearing since it eases into the seal.
94 uses Timkens and that funky seal.
The FSM also states that the chamfer goes inward, no explanation though.

The OP has a 2001 with sealed bearings in the wheel. No separate oil seals (because they're sealed bearings).

One spacer per side. Left side spacer will span between the rear caliper mount to the inner race of the sealed bearing. On the right side, the spacer spans between the swingarm to the inner race of the sealed bearing.

Code:
1994 does use Timken bearings - In that case, there are two spacers (one
each side) that go thru the oil seals. Then NO extra spacer on the left (the
spacer thru the oil seal goes against the rear caliper mounting). There is a
spacer on the right to reach from the oil seal spacer to the right-side swingarm.
I'm assuming that any chamfer toward the inner race of the bearing is to minimize any possibility of the spacer touching any other part of the bearing.

+1 on the higher the machine, reason i use a chain foil. if you push the pads back in, just use the foil on a standing tire and it will drop into place.
