I have seen some beautiful choppers and would love to have one to ride. But it is not just the fork extension that I appreciate but the art and science of the whole thing.

I think that some basic geometry would show that if you raise it 2" you will need more than 2" of length, because of the angle of the forks.

The only real downside for me was keeping the front wheel on the ground shifting gears, if you can call that a downside. Wait it was a FUNSIDE!!

Just a thought, you may be able to find a set of XLS fork tubes.
They are 3" longer according to my service manual anyway.

You may be right Mick, I'll look when I get back in town.
It sticks in my head as 3" when I bent one in 2010.
That was when I found out they were not standard length.
