Never liked the idea of mixing brakes with a greasy chain. Not my style. I've heard plenty of folks say they work just fine.

yeah me neither I'm thinking chain on outside and centrifugal force and an o-ring chain should help sling oil off. Guess I need to think this over and make somekind of decision. It would sure clean up back end on custom... thanks for input

Oh yeah, it makes for an uncluttered look. As far as the centrifugal forces go, why does my sprocket get so oily that I hafta clean it with a rag and carb cleaner every month or so?

Are you building it to ride or sell? That makes all the difference...

good point guess oil migrating down when bike is stopped, ride around local long trips are for bike with shocks. I have had grease get on shoes of a drum makes for some fairly fast stops never anything with oil. thanks again I'm thinking....

I installed a Sprockster (same thing) on my Rigid Chopper build. Have been running it for about 18 months without problems.
