Jeff, no one has kept an eye on what was going on with that lot. You are a court guy. there's a name for that behavior.

The 1970s Crocker Register had 48 numbers , the 2010 Crocker Register had 71. thats a 50% increase, and consecutive numbers too. there is even a double up number! (the villiage idiot stamped the wrong number)

^^^that is an incredible survival rate. the experts fall all over Knuckleheads and chiefs engine stamps etc, but when a Crocker turns up at auction, its complete silence.

Why have patterns made in the first place ? = to make motors = bikes!.
There is'nt any parts of a Crocker engine that are not available, rockers, everything.

the new Crocker co has pattern set
the Australian co have their patterns

those patterns originate from the early 1990s, when all the big names were still alive

so right there is 3 sets, the oldest one is in the auction, the newest in Australia.
