Default Sportster Lot For Sale

I have a pretty decent parts and bike collection that needs a new home. I don't have the time for these any longer, and I need the room.

'79 which is complete, but needs some final touches to be road ready (tires, a correct carb, brake lines) - has title. I have a list of parts that I put in to it already - pm for info.

'77 numbers matching project w/ bill of sale. VIN is clear; I have most of the parts needed to complete it.

'75 project w/ title for frame (non matching numbers).

An additional '75 and '77 frame (title for '77 frame).

Parts, parts, parts, and extras for various years; service and parts manuals, foot pump table lift. Both projects are rollers.

All has to go; will not split up or piece out.

$4,200. Located in Chatham County, N.C.

(If I can figure out how to add pic's, I will certainly post them)!

This is from Ryder Rick;

"You have to link to pictures hosted on other sites

I don't use Photobucket < sucks (carpetbaggers)

https://postimages.org/

PostImage provides a link you can copy and paste into the test editing window here.

It is difficult to provide examples as some elements are not displayed when the page is rendered the bracketed img tag tells the browser an inline image to display, the bracketed /img tag tells the browser that is the end of the image address.

After uploading a pic to postimg click on the share button and select the hotlink for forums. I usually trim it down to just the bracketed IMG tags and link in between.
Paste that into your post where you want the image to appear. I leave a blank line before and after the link to provide some separation."

There are countless threads in the Forum FAQ section (a link to the main page is here: http://xlforum.net/forums/index.php ) on how to do this. Here's two of them that might help you out:Pick whatever works for you.

Use the "Test Area" to practice.

..... and do NOT use Photobucket

Default Sportster Lot pic's

Yay me! First pic is the '75. Second is the '79 and lift, before I got it running and did most of what needed to be done to it. Third is the '79, the '77 project (on lift), and hind end of the '75. 4th is the '79 almost complete. Rideable, but not road-ready.

Please feel free to pm me with any questions. I'll try and get a few pic's of the parts collection.

Default Need 1979 and later steering stem

I just need the stem, but will be happy with the lower tree if it’s still attached. I believe the later stems are longer than the pre-79 stems (someone please correct me if I’m wrong). A forum member generously gifted me a stem some time ago, and it was too short. I then made my own, but I’m not happy with it. I lost my original while moving this past summer. I plan to use the stem in a Ceriani lower clamp, with the correct spacer, so I don’t need the Sportster tree if it’s not attached. Can anyone help?

Default Actually need ‘81 stem

Okay, I was wrong about interchangeability. I need a 1981 stem. Has anyone got one collecting dust? I believe we’re talking about late ‘81, though I don’t know if that matters with stems and trees. The bike is a mixture of early and late ‘81 parts, and came from the factory that way.
