I remember you saying that you had to do alot of shoveling last year, and was just wondering if you were gonna do it again. LOL

OK Mick, The sun came out yesterday and melted the snow. It's supposed to be nice today but crappy on the weekend.
Oh yea, Northern Colorado. Summer and winter, not much in the middle.

So, would it be cruel to tell you that I was outside stripping the bike down in a t-shirt today? It's going to be in the 50's & 60's all week and I'm sure we'll see 70 again before December. I love living in the South. I winterize my bike by riding the hell out of it LOL! The Sporty is coming apart for refurbishment though so I'll ride the Honda or the Triumph for now ;-)

Yes! It would be cruel, so do not say it. D@mn! He already said it. How do you unsay something someone has said? There's gotta be a way, eh. Maybe you have to be a moderator to do that. Or play in the matrix. Or whatever.

I wish we just had salt, I'd be willing to powerwash afterwards...But ice must be hard to ride in...I live in far Northwest California, where the rain switch is turned on for 5 months a year..(just started today, Damn it) .Wouldn't be a problem if I had a front fender, but....has anyone here ever rode in the rain with no front fender? ..It just funnels water straight up to your face!!..lol..I'm thinking of putting my old dented up stock fender on and just getting a rainsuit for winter riding...At least my bike would run cool in this weather!!

my pops was told at a stealership that the carb should not be drained because te gaskets will dry out in the carb.. is there any merit to this? whats better? dried gaskets or gummed fuel?
