Default Ammo cans

2007 883

If you have installed metal ammo cans, as luggage, what size cans did you use?

Can you post a pic or link to a pic?

Thank you

Not metal cans, but I installed medium sized plastic ammo cans. I mounted them to saddle bag supports that are typically used on a Sportster. They looked ok, but I bought a second bike with bags and took those off the sporty.

Got the smallish cans from Harbor Frt. I don't have the capability of welding, so couldn't buy larger ones and cut out + patch, to clear the shocks.
This is attempt no. 1, which might be "Good Enough"

Strong enough to tie on a duffel bag.
