Default Bigger rear Pulley

I have a a bigger rear pulley on my 1200 no change at front ,

so what difference does it make from a standard pulley???

i,ll try and get the size of new one when i can

more reduction so it should pull the machine harder.
i believe ironmick has the gearing combo list.
need to check speedo error and remember to adjust if you do not recalibrate

Hello Folkie,
i changed pulley because it was the one for my new wheels

i wasnt after more speed or or accelleration im not going too mess about with the engine apart from a new clutch.

I and mechanic think my engine has been rebuilt because all head bolts are new and the cylinders are spotless ,

A correct new rear wheel should have had the correct 68 tooth pulley. IIRC, the next size larger Harley Pulley would be a 70 tooth.
