Thanks for the info maddog.. I am looking at the crane HI-4. Will this work in my sporty? Thanks for all the help I really want to get the right one the first time.. Here is a link to the one i am looking at..

Thanks Stevo... before i purchase it, What is your opinion on the nosecone set-up? Should i, or would it be better to go with like the dyna 2000hd set-up. And if you recommend the dyna 2000hd do i need the 7 to 8 pin adaptor.

kntalan...Stevo's right, as usual...but consider this. You'll already be half way there if you get the Hi-4 that is swithcable between single and dualfire.
You can run your stock coil in the dual fire mode, and at a later date get the single fire coil when you can afford it.
There is no difference in performance from about 3k to redline, BUT, when you go single fire the motor runs smoother below 3k and you eliminate a major cause of low rpm carb popping..You also extend plug and plug wire life.
Harley did this 'cause it's cheaper to run one coil. The "Wasted Spark" serves no useful purpose to the motor. It simply is NOT the way to to run a motor.
How many cars have you ever heard of that fire all their plugs at the same time?
