I am currently running a mixture of 75% Red Line Medium and 25% Red line Heavy suspension fluid. Should be about a 15 weight on Red line's suspension viscosity scale.
It is actually a 40 grade on the SAE J300 viscosity scale. HD type E is a 20 grade on the SAE J300 viscosity scale.

That should be close to HD Type fluid at 40 C (100 F) temps.
My mix should be about 38.5 cSt at 100 F.
HD type E is ~41.1 cSt at 100 F.

Shanneba, it surprised me that HD opted to use such a heavy oil for their damper upgrade. At least the Redline VI will much higher, so you should have nice consistent damping through the seasons.
