As bought in 1990 (used 1983 XLX)

As it sits today (returned to the original paint and treated to a mild resto-mod)

If it ain't broke, don't fix it (especially if you don't know what you're doing). Most Sportster problems are owner-induced.

The day she came home, like introducing your ex to your new missus!

https://photos.google.com/search/mot...DN6TkUs35wGH-0

Suspension dropped an inch too far it turned out!) tank lifted and wires tucked with a solo seat. Ran like this for aaaages.

https://photos.google.com/search/mot...prCR4y7xN2sxHL

Then I realised where I wanted to go with it long term and took a left turn at alberquerque (sp?) Copped some white walls, apes and exhaust wrap.

https://photos.google.com/search/mot...JdUSGf3mivyMQt

Where she stands today, has had a speedo, headlight, coil and ignition relocation,

Still a lot of work to do 35inch sissy bar in the mail as we speak to relocate the numberplate and tidy the tail. Next major works are +6 tubes with 3 degrees of rake, a 5inch stretched swingarm, then either far more cubes or forced induction, unsure which way to go. maybe both.
