What, this pic:

Just copy the contents of the UBBCode box and paste it into your post.

I belong to a bunch of forums and I've had no problem posting my pics from either my pc or from Photobucket but here I'm battling.
I tried to upload from photobucket yesterday and the pics don't show.
Any advice????

Yes: copy the contents of the 'IMG Code' box in Photobucket, and paste that into your post. Couldn't be easier, really.

"There was a time when you could paste the URL of the full sized pic and it would embed properly. It wasn't necessary to use the thumbnail and then edit the URL. Any idea what behind the scene change made it necessary to add a step to the procedure (Bert?). "

The Thumbs script was only there because he picked up the image from the image gallery. You shouldn't need to use a thumbnailed image if you select from elsewhere, and you won't have to cut out anything.

You don't need to use a thumbnail image when you post a link to a pic in the gallery either. In fact I don't recommend it. All you need to do is go to the pic's own page (not just where you see it as one among a number of little pics), copy the contents of the UBBCode box, and paste that in your post.

Here's a pic showing the UBBCode that Folkie is referencing.

Ok, I,m old too.
MY pics on MY computer have a URL?
Possibly , but I wouldn,t know it if it bit me.
My own thread says "may not "post attachments, that doesn,t help.
Any advice?.... I,d quite like to post a pic of mine.
And I,d agree with the post above, I,ve never come across such a "obstructive" forum (in the matter of pics) before, though I can see other, less dumb, people can cope!
