Nice shepherd Trace, but you really ought to wash your feet.

Really pleased that you've had your surgery and are now getting bonding time with John and Landon. Be "smart" with your rehab eh? Try not to rush it too much Sending healing thoughts and some Clam hugs.
As for the rescue Angel, I was just along for the drive, the company, and the promise of breakfast... the Knight was really the one doing all the rescuing

She's a good Little Knack And yes, my thongs weren't very effective in the dewy wet grass. Needless to say my feet were washed before I ventured back inside.

Haha... I wasn't though, I'd had a thong "blowout" part way back up the hill, so my feet were not just dirty but I'd had to navigate the bindiis too

dirty feet doesn't bother me a bit. my woman likes sand on hers and a sunset between her toes and i will gladly give her all that i can.
not applicable to all situations but carpenter bees do not like wood painted with used engine oil or a copper sulphate. wood dowel with wood glue can plug the hole up. on my camper cover, i took some aluminum flashing cut to width and stapled to the bottom, sometimes you get one that will bore into the side but the above treatment will send them packing.
of course, you can do a jethro bodine on them with a air rifle or pistol.

I've had a busy couple of weeks and next week will be crazy too, but Cal and I found time this morning to sit quietly and watch the sun rise.

She's finally relaxing into her new home...

Haven't had time to relax with my camera yet, but Cal and I did watch the sunrise from our bed again; seems to be our theme this year... I loved how much she seemed to be enjoying the sunshine and just taking in the view.

This year's been a bit crazy: life seems to have gone from a scenic by-way to a winding pot-holed road where I was bracing myself, unsure what hazards were coming up around each corner, and now onto an insanely busy four-lane freeway where I just need to stay focussed and avoid idiots. But this little girl had been such great companion through it all Woman's best friend
