Default Mounting seat

I just bought my 74 last week and it didn't come with any seat. The bike is mostly stock so I assume the original brackets are there. I also assume that that big bracket with a horizontal tube about an inch higher than the backbone is a seat bracket. Anyone know what the tube below it, under the backbone, nearly touching the rear rocker box is for?

I need a seat, but when I look at ads it's hard to tell what will fit, and I haven't found anything that obviously will fit, even when advertised as an original stock 1974 seat.

This leads to a couple of questions. With that bracket standing so tall above the backbone, does it interfere with fitting a lot of aftermarket seats? If so, what do you do about it.

Also, can anyone recommend a seat that will fit the stock set up? Ideally I'd like to get one of those old school Cobra style seats, but I don't see how they get it to fit nice and tight looking to the frame with that giant bracket.

Bigger and longer turtle tank or K model tank uses that lower mount . Got a modified K on mine and bolts straight on to my 72 frame.
