Default Top end tapping products

Anyone have any real world experience with aftermarket rocker arm bolt sleeves? I guess the noise from the slop doesn't bother some, but it does me. I see Rocker Locker and Rockout products as brass sleeves you press in to take up the play between the bolts and rocker arm shaft. Seems like a good idea to me. I want to pull the tops to replace my umbrella valves anyway, so it would be a good time to do it. Grab some fresh gaskets while I'm at it.

Opinions?

Randall, I installed them in my 2004, and will install them in my other two. I think the photo in Sportsterpedia May be the witness marks on my bolt, significant.

I'm wondering about brands. Rockoff claims Rocker Locker stole his installation method, and says his materials are different. Wondering if any of that really matters.

I don't know which came first, the chicken or the egg.
I haven't used Rockoffs so I can't comment on construction.
Bought my Rocker Lockers from Xlforum vendor-supporters, DK Customs.
And I can say that installation was easy.
To me, a company that needs to trash their competition to sell their product may not have a good enough product that sells itself.
So I personally wouldn't buy the Rockoffs due to the way they do business alone.

Didn't know DK Customs was a part of the crew. I will go that route as well.

Just put an order with DK Custom. Surprised from a quick Google at how many off brands from China and elsewhere are calling themselves Rocker Lockers. Seems they are all using the brand name as a generic name for the parts themselves, like how Frigidaire used to be used to mean any refrigerator back in my parents era.

Took a 85 mile cruise today at mostly 35 mph around Sanibel and Captiva islands, on a rare ride without a helmet. The noise was driving me nuts. That, and a rattle I can only really hear when I am passing or along side another vehicle.
