The paint came out great, and that Mustang seat looks way better than the stock seat. How does the seat feel? Does it allow you to reach the ground any easier? Looks like the way the edges are rolled would help with getting the legs down.

Looking good Joe, my Orange never glistened like that from the second day I owned her, ha, ha! Also up for a Meet n Eat, sorry that I missed the hot dog run.
F.W.I.W. I just sent a couple of kids from Chillicothe out on US 10 west out of Bay City. Woody and Shane are doing a Lake Michigan loop so I rode down to Wolverine H.D. In Mt. Clemens and met them coming up from Ohio. We had a good meal, on the riverside deck at “Anita’s “ in Marine City the spent the night in my “construction zone” where I was forced to drink copious amounts of adult beverage! Took them up and around the “Thumb” leading up to Bay City. About 450 miles for me, they might still be doing roadwork. Their next destination was “Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes” on the Lake Michigan shore, then north through the Leelanau peninsula. Don’t know if they’ll make the “Trail of Trees”, Michigan 119, on up to “Legs Inn” before stopping for the night. Eventually they’ll do the Upper Pennisula, on over to “Door County”, Wisconsin, then Down to the H.D.Museum in Milwaukee.

I still had the stock tank off of the 06, so I bought a couple of fenders on eBay, I had enough basecoat leftover from the 06's tank project so this happened. I also painted the air cleaner satin black, thinking about doing the exhaust heat sheilds, and the clutch cover and primary chain inspection cover too.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!
I just want to be clear that I didn't paint the tank, it's the one I took off my last bike when I did the tank swap. That kind of made painting some fenders and having an orange bike again a no brainier. Of course now I have a complete set of tins laying around that I might have to do something creative with.
Wedge, on the Mustang seat, I find them to be all day comfortable, they might be a little more narrow than a stock seat, but not by much. The seat is usually the first thing I change on a bike if I plan to keep it for a while.
