Lol Matt know where your coming from! I had ceremic coated pipes & ( mummy wrap ) now using chrome pipes ( not searching for power gain, just had them to use ) .

Done that myself, have ceramic coated three stepped 2:1 hooker headers on my 2000”C” for about 20 years now. Wrapped them and added the chrome heat shields to keep it as a sleeper. Oh, an S&S 89” strokes kit as well. 90,000+ miles on the bike just better than 60,000 on the engine. Fun machine but crying for head work, may have to run out to Hammer Performance and see what Dan and Aaron can do for me.
