Aaron responded and suggested to save money and reuse the old cam gear, buy one tool and it will end up cheaper and retain the factory tolerance, so I guess that's what I will do, as well as try to be more patient. That dude is solid and quick to respond. Thanks for the input also folks. I appreciate it.

No, the little blows of the impact hammer mech don’t make for any big rotational force. It just zips the nut off.

You could use a battery impact too.

I’m quite sure the nut could be tightened with an impact, without scissoring the crank, but there is no way to know how tight it is. (So NOT recommended).

Thanks, I wonder about little things like that.

I zipped the bolt loose from my Kawi primary but the last time I used an impact, I hammered, seems like forever, on a cab bolt on a C-10.
Guess that last bolt was all I remembered.
